As Art Director at BuzzFeed, I collaborated across newsroom departments to create compelling visual packages, layouts, illustrations, and brand identities. I managed incoming design requests and large-scale projects, while also contributing hands-on through illustration and design work. I pitched, commissioned, and art directed external artists, and worked closely with the Creative Director and Photo Director to ensure all visuals aligned with the site’s evolving aesthetic. I also partnered with photo editors on visual-first stories, helping to shape the narrative through strong, cohesive art direction.
