As Art Director at Apartment Therapy, I led visual strategy across all platforms, overseeing graphics, illustration, and photography for the website, social media, email, and more. I directed weekly in-house photo shoots and provided art direction for lifestyle photo shoots, ensuring visuals aligned with the brand’s aesthetic. I also hired and managed freelance talent, oversaw production timelines and budgets, and created in-house illustrations. Collaborating closely with editorial and social teams, I used analytics to guide visual content and increase engagement, and developed style guides and process documents to streamline workflows.
